Based in North Yorkshire, we specialise in preparing and serving beautifully presented food.


As proud owners of The Square & Compass in North Rigton and The Castle Inn, Spofforth, we use the very best ingredients and then we serve your guests with enthusiasm and a smile.

WEDDINGS & EVENTS

For over a decade, members of our senior team have been setting up, planning and running stunning occasions.

 

We can connect you to the perfect supplier, guide your ideas to fruition or simply execute your vision for your day.

 

Host your event at one of our partner venues and our services are included.  If you are planning to hold your event elsewhere, then consider hiring our team for venue set-up or on-the-day coordination.

CEREMONIES

We are licensed to hold both indoor and outdoor ceremonies; our events team are on hand to help create the setting of your dreams. We will be there to guide you through each and every step of your planning journey, also being on hand to offer advice and recommendations throughout the process. 

​

To ensure your preferred date is available, we recommend you contact North Yorkshire Registry Office directly on Ceremonies@northyorks.gov.uk at your earliest convenience.

Alternatively, just a two-minute walk away is the beautiful All Saints Church, dating back to around 1200AD. Enquiries can be made to Reverend Barbara Ryan on 01937 573975.

EVENT CATERING

Good food on any scale.

 

The hub of our catering operation is based  within  our stylish pubs. This gives us a home-base for preparing good local food and enables our clients to thoroughly check and taste what will be offered to guests.

 

Being part of a wider team, also means costs are reasonable while our standards stay high. 

 

We offer a range of menus and catering solutions. We know first impressions count and want to serve dishes that suit your style.

Our History

We were born from Malvern Inns which has owned and operated boutique hotels and restaurants since 2010. 

 

Malvern Events was created to satisfy an increased demand for a good party with excellent service. We have since added to our catering portfolio and use our knowledge and experience to plan a wide range of events.
